SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Green Island CC: Starting August 22nd, practice rounds may be scheduled subject to availability and may be reserved up to 7 days in advance. On October 2nd, tee times are available 10 am till 12 noon. Cost is $65, call pro shop to schedule, 706-324-3706
Maple Ridge: Starting August 18th, practice rounds are available anytime during the week and after 12 noon on weekends. Cost is $50. Call the pro shop 7 days in advance or book online to schedule ,706-569-0966.
Monday, October 2nd, 2023 – Green Island Country Club
5:00 PM Cash Bar opens. Complimentary appetizers will be served. Cash only.
5:00 – 5:45 PM Registration at Green Island Country Club.
6:00 PM Short Opening Business Meeting, followed by Welcome Dinner in the ballroom.
Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023
7:30 AM Driving Ranges open at both courses.
8:30 AM Club Pros & GSWGA board representatives will review local rules. Golfers in carts.
8:45 AM Proceed to Starting Tees.
9:00 AM Shot Gun Start Round 1.
Wednesday, October 4th, 2023
Maple Ridge:
7:00 AM Driving Ranges opens
8:00 AM At Maple Ridge: Club Pro & GSWGA board representative will review local rules. Golfers in carts.
8:15 AM At Maple Ridge: Proceed to Starting Tees.
8:30 AM At Maple Ridge: Shot Gun Start Final Round.
Green Island:
7:30 AM Driving range opens
8:30 AM At Green Island: Club Pro & GSWGA board representative will review local rules. Golfers in carts.
8:45 AM At Green Island: Proceed to Starting Tees.
9:00 AM At Green Island: Shot Gun Start Final Round.
One member of your team is required to TURN IN YOUR SCORECARD at the Scoring Table to the GSWGA board member collecting scorecards. At this time, the team member will be asked to certify/sign the scorecard. PAPER SCORECARD MUST BE RETURNED BEFORE LEAVING THE COURSE. Live scoring will be required at both courses. One person in the group must keep the online scores for the group.
At Maple Ridge and Green Island, food and beverage items will be available for purchase both days with cash or credit card. The Green Island beverage cart accepts cash only. The Island Grill at Green island will be open to players from 11:00 am till 5:00 pm both days. Credit cards and cash are accepted.
AT GREEN ISLAND CC, AWARDS PRESENTATION IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING COMPLETION OF SECOND DAY PLAY, WILL BE HELD IN THE BALLROOM. COMPLIMENTARY SNACKS WILL BE AVAILABLE.
